Extend your NVivo license

 


If your NVivo time-limited or trial license has expired, you can enter a new license key to extend your use of the NVivo software.

Understand how to get a new license key

If your trial license has expired, you can purchase a license key from QSR International—visit the QSR Website for more information.

If you purchased a time-limited license (for example, a student license), and the license period has expired, you can purchase a new license key from QSR International—visit the QSR Website for more information.

If you are using a site license (at a University or other institution), and the license has expired, you should contact your network administrator.

If you are not sure what type of license you are using, contact QSR Support for assistance.

If you upgrade your NVivo edition, you keep the same license key.

Extend your NVivo license with a new license key

When your time-limited license expires, you can extend it by purchasing a new license key.

  1. Click the File tab, point to Help, click Manage License and then click Extend License.

The Extend License dialog box opens.

  1. Enter the new license key.
  2. Click OK.

NOTE  If your license key was not activated before it expired, you will need to replace the license key.
